As we sail past Bjarkøy Island, near Tromsø, strong winds
tear at the sails. That’s music to our ears!

We stayed in Tromsø today, and may well spend the day here tomorrow as well.

Yesterday – Thorleif taking time out for dinner, expedition style.

The highest of the rugged Lyngen Alps, near Tromsø, tower 1833 metres above sea level.

The many shipwrecks are a grim reminder that sailors here venture into dangerous waters. Sudden storms have claimed many a vessel.
