Tuesday: It was very much a testing day. But 7,5km was better that expected as a couple was really marked by the altitude. But they braved it out, and some of the weight from their sledges was transferred to the fresher ones. That evened it all out as the snow was like the snow Amundsen called ‘fish-glue’.

It clouded over today and they had a bit of snow and -30°C. For most it was nice to get back into the tents. Tomorrow they will push a little bit harder. Stay tuned.

TUESDAY: 23km today and they are really getting the routines going. Consistency is everything over long distances. And it is obvious them talking to them that they enjoy themselves now. Tomorrow they are looking at breaking into the 89° and the homerun! Their camp tonight was at 88°57.366S 170°00.625W
