Sunshine and beautiful weather again! Bengt describes it as a perfect day, and they are back on track with 27,5 km distance, expecting to increase to 30 tomorrow, if weather permits. Minus 14 this morning, which increased to almost zero in the middle of the day, but temperature dropped to a chilly minus 25 when camping.
They are at 2400 metre, and at the summit of Greenland. The landscape is much like on the South Pole, Bengt says, with a lot of snowdrift, but not as big as you find them in Antarctic. Greenland has always been good training ground for Antarctic expeditions, its like an Antarctica in miniature, smaller but much the same conditions.
