A new great day in South Georgia. We have been in Gold Harbour where wildlife is truly amazing. Around 80.000 king penguins breed their chicks here. In addition there is a large population of elephant and fur seals, and of course the birds of prey, skuas and the huge petrels that feeds on those who don’t make it. So the trip is not over yet.
We are now moving to the northern parts of the island again where we hope to experience some more birds, perhaps the wandering albatross.
