The absence of the sound of wind hitting the tent after many days of storm is absolutely weird. it feels like something is not right. if somebody turns in their sleepingbag one tent away the sound is easy to hear. In the storm you couldn’t hear each other even when screaming.
This morning the wind and the snowdrift was clearly easyer to deal with. conditions on the ground was not perfect, but feelt like a machinemade skitrail. During the day the wind died totaly, and there was sunshine!
It feels like a different place, we could see the horison in all directions.
We plan to go one hour earlier tomorrow, todfay we did 26,5 kilometes in 9 legs, tomorrow there will be 10 hours of effective waliking. At last thats the plan.
Expedition Marve are HAPPY!
