Report from Bengt Rotmo last night:
Another windy day here on the Ice. We keep walking towards the pole, but don’t move any closer. The minus drift is not as bad as yesterday. Then we had 1,2 km/hour. Today only 500m. The headwind has gone down in strength, and the temperature has risen. Today we have struggled to get past leads. From our camp there are open leads in all directions except from where we came from. A major 100m plus lead stopped us. We have camped not far from it, hoping it will close while we sleep.
