After having met up in Alta a couple of days ago, getting all equipment ready, we are now leaving Jotka on our first day skiing across Finnmarksvidda. Mild weather, just a few minus and a breeze from west; nothing to worry about. It takes a couple of days to get into the rythm and routines, so a soft start like this is very welcomed.

The aim for this trip, apart from the beautiful scenery and to be out in the wild, is to learn the tricks of winter travel, which Finnmark in February is the perfect place for.
