Patagonia – journey to the end of the world

This is a 40 minutes long film about Thomas Ulrich and Børge Ousland’s epic crossing of the Southern Patagonia Icecap. No one had managed to do this without resupply before. In August 2003 they started from the village Tortel with two kayaks each and paddled towards the glacier. When the fjord ended they had to carry all the equipment up to the ice edge. From here they skied, climbed, rappelled and paddled across the entire icecap, all the way to Puerto Natales. The film also contains clips from the reconnaissance trip the year before.
