They left Dye II the day before yesterday in beautiful weather, doing a record day with 30 km. Clear sky, minus 24, flat, and good glide. Could it be better? Probably not, it could only be worse.
So yesterday was of course totally different, with snow, windy, bad visibility, headwind more snow which made skiing heavy, until it became quite unpleasant. No point in feeling sorry for oneself, they did 20 k, and that is something to be proud of in such conditions. Best part is that Paul Van Koppen has birthday today! Hurrah! Willy and Michel sends their regards. So does the Familie van Koppen.
Happy Birthday, Paul from us in Norway too!
