Another Stunner

Day15, Sunday: It was hard to find more superlatives to describe the fantastic conditions they had Sunday. Hardly any wind and clouds, just pure sunshine. Great views is the trademark of Patagonia. But to have a stable high pressure like this is fantastic.

But, they worked hard. 12 full hours of pulling took them to the edge of the icefall. But as the day had been long and they were pretty tired they decided not to push on. They wanted to be fresh as they steered into the crevasse areas. It looks good with lots of snow in the beginning, but…

What is for sure, now the real work, both technically and physically, starts. – Can’t wait for the report tomorrow.
