Camping on solid ground

Gro, Astrid, Petter and Bengt pushing ahead !

Good weather again yesterday and a lot of work.

We had to go down two  icefalls, the first one was easy, a lot of snow on the ground so we could just go around it in a couple hours. Then for the second one it was hard work, going down about 500m using ice screws, slings and ropes. Hard work, it took us about 7 hours…

So now we have set our campsite on solid ground and we are relaxing a little inside the tent. The weather changed and we have now some rain, which we are enjoying as well after the unreal beautiful sunny days we have been having!

Next we will go into the  ice again and follow on our way. All of us are feeling very good and happy!

Connection was not too good, impossible to send any photo today.

Greetings from Patagonia!
