Dark blue sky to the south!

Published 02.06 in category Greenland Spring 2017

Today we woke up to bright sunshine and northerly winds at about 7 m/s. All the sticky snow from yesterday had been transformed into a nice hard surface with some sastrugi. We felt like we were flying !

After lunch, the wind died down and gave the usual heat that nearly makes us undress completely. Very good day.

31 km between us and our last camp and about 58 km to go to Isortoq!

Tomorrow we bend south into the east coast icefall and start our descent towards the coast…

Cheers from the Lost P.E.N.G.U.I.N.s
