Day 11, Summer returns…

Published 13.05 in category Greenland Spring 2019 with Sebastian Gjolstad

We set off from camp again at 7 am.

By the fourth leg the temperature had gone from approx -20 to about 0 and layers were rapidly flying off (and with that some sun burns as well).

Today we were on short skins and pushed toward DYE for 13 legs of 50 minutes each.

As DYE appeared in the horizon in the afternoon we glided happily forward and upward and broke the record of skiing 30 km in a day, and pitched camp late at night, admiring DYE in the beautiful sunset.
