Day 26. Friday the 13th lives up to it’s reputation…

Published 14.09 in category Greenland Fall 2016

Friday the 13th lives up to it’s reputation. First we had whiteout, snow and terrible skiing conditions. Then, after lunch Christer lost his one skipole in a crevasse. It took us one hour to get it up.

Then of course we had to rope up. And stayed roped up through the entire crevasse area.

50km to go…

Tomorrow will be a bit tricky, but hopefully we will find a good way through the problem areas. Praying for good visibility and contrast.

Cheers from Are and Pride expedition

The Pride Expedition would like to send their best regards to Honoré and Valérie whom we met in Tasiilaq. Hope you enjoy the blog. 😊
