Day 7, 10th January

Friday: A big shift as clouds built up. In the tent we could well feel that the ‘wonderfull’ radiation from the midnight sun eased and the temperature dropped inside. But on the outside we had the first day with constant wind. 6-7ms, but we were fortunate that it turned to the east so that we did not have it straight in our faces (we walk south, if any has missed that 🙂 On top of that, some  sun and partly cloudy made the day pretty nice after all.

Catherine’s sledge was eased so she could get better and she was doing well and her blisters are stable (-89.7626, -85.6066)  – Vince Colliard
