Whether you are heading for the South Pole in a handful of months, or, most importantly, you want precise advice and recommendations on how to train, prepare, and enhance your knowledge in order to reach your goal. Then this is the program for you.

This is a very flexible setup. You can choose how many days and the itinerary. Together, we build the perfect stay for you, with the aim of you taking a big step, and go home with a firm plan for how to move forward.
Yes, and we have one more rule: It shall be overly enjoyable!

This is our toolbox, which also means your toolbox:

We will the indoor Skiing facility SNØ extensively
We will Holmenkollen Lab. They are used to the World Cup and Olympic cross-country skiing, so we are really honored that love to work with us
We will do an O2 Max test (we’ll explain why this is important, too)
We will do a muscular evaluation in a gym
We will let you use a roller-ski-mill
We will on tire pulling and sled pulling
We will on ski techniques and balance
We can make you comfortable on roller skies
We may take you for a run in the forest
We may introduce ski-pole-interval-running
We may do workouts in the gym

We will help you buy the correct equipment for your own training or your upcoming expedition.
We can also set you up for special sessions on navigation, communication, and camp routines, tent security & safety, crevasse safety and understanding, avalenche security, sled strategies, etc etc.

We will also sit down and talk, talk, and talk about everything under the polar-expedition-sun. The topics can be adventure philosophies, route planning, route caracteristics, weather, equipment or nutrition, training or timing, tareget differences and plan B & C, and what is possible for you, even sponsorship and setting goals well outside your comfort zone.

Who need this?

This is for everybody. We have some who just like to get an understanding of what Polar Expeditions need from you, - and we have those who already have been to the South Pole but want to become better, more efficient and refine skiing.

But most have a target like Crossing Greenland, going to the South Pole or haveing a secret dream. A few days here will for surtain both be a lot of fun, but also make the road ahead both more productive and valuable.

We can even be you training partner from afar, working with you, wherever you are so you know you you make the progress needed for your desired task ahead.

This is what Ben said on Day 2, having already acrossed Greenland and conquered the South Pole:

DetaiLs for the (possible) stay:

Date: Any time during the year - actually, the summer season it the most popular as it sets you uå nicely for the winter or an upcomming expedition.
Time: Anything from 2 days and upwards. Most choose 3 days, and some stay a week or longer, so they can have some days on their own in between to digest and try it out alone.
Alone, or…? The optimal is one or two. We can of course take more at the same time, but what distinguishes us from others is that we personalise everything for your benefit. Everybody is different.
Price: Every visit is tailor-made, so you have to ask
Lodging: We can help out, but most choose an Airbnb or hotel.
