South Georgia waters

New day. Rolling away as before, with about 13 knots and a good tailwind. Some of us woke up last night when loose equipment shifted inside our cabins due to large waves, but apart from the swells it has been a reasonably pleasant voyage.

Some snow showers earlier today, and now a group of penguins welcoming us to South Georgia waters. We expect to land late this afternoon, if we can get ashore before darkness. That means we will miss dinner by an hour of two, but even if food is great, getting onshore has first priority.

So we bulked up with lots of hamburgers for lunch, and are now eager and ready to move our legs and get going.
